Ultimately, the reason why these policies are getting panned in opinion polls while the President still has sky high approval ratings is because the policies can’t defend themselves when the pollsters ask with all of their biases and the biases of the polled.
With Obama, despite all of the negative setup and warnings about what the President would try to convince you of… when Obama comes on, his opponents simply pale in comparison and ultimately seem quaint and, simply enough said, wrong.
He’s simply too much better at them at presenting his ideas.
