Chinese-style-influenced-sort-of Chicken Stew
The making of tonight’s dinner. A clove of garlic, sprig of green onion (both chopped coarsely), lots of anseed powder first sautéed in olive oil, then added chicken marinated for about half an hour in soy sauce, vinegar, olive oil, garlic powder, some cilantro.
Added water with a fair amount of vinegar, soy sauce, and boiled for a while. Then also added carrots for vegetables. A lot of cooking I’ve found is smell. I don’t measure, I just smell to determine how much to put in.
As always, less a product of lots of deliberate preplanning and more throwing together whatever I have around, as a college student.
